Hands wearing MICTIC wristbands during play

1. Charge both bands

Use the included dual USB cable and a wall adapter you trust. LEDs or the in-app battery readout tell you when each band is ready. Starting with full power avoids dropouts while you learn gestures.

2. Install and open the Mictic app

The pack points you to the iOS download. Allow Bluetooth when prompted, keep Wi-Fi off if your room is noisy on the radio, and update iOS first when Apple nags you. The app is the control surface for presets and firmware.

3. Pair left and right

Follow the on-screen pairing order. Place bands on your wrists only after the app shows both connected. If one side drops, toggle Bluetooth off and on once, then repair before you touch advanced settings.

4. Pick one simple preset

Choose drums or a single melodic kit, not a stack of layers. Stand with a meter of free space so swings do not hit furniture. Tap the preview in the app headphone jack first if you need to hear the raw patch quietly.

5. Learn three motions

Practice a hit, a sweep, and a stop gesture until the sound always fires. Film yourself sideways on a phone to spot extra shoulder movement. Tighter motion usually means cleaner triggers.

6. Save your session note

Write which preset, room size, and phone model you used. That note helps support if something felt off. When you are ready to shop add-ons or read press coverage, start again from the Mictic homepage.
